The foundation of our institute is built upon the tireless efforts and dedication of Moulana Umar Farooq. His guidance has resulted in the production of numerous Huffaz, demonstrating the effectiveness of our approach. Our website serves as an extension of our institute, providing access to our resources to a wider audience.

At our institute, we believe that the memorization and understanding of the Quran holds the key to fostering a deeper appreciation of its teachings and promoting a more united and enlightened community. Meet the Team

President & Principal

Moulana Muhammad Umar Farooq

Moulana Muhammad Umer Farooq began his Hifz in 1998 and, by the grace of Allah, completed the memorization of the Holy Qur’an in 2000 from Bagh Wali Masjid Jamia Zia-ul-Quran.

He then graduated from the Aalimiyah program in 2011 from Jamia Darul-Quran under the supervision of Qari Yasin Sahib.

In 2012, he began teaching at Darul Uloom Chicago where he served until 2017.

In November 2017, he established his own institution, Raheemiya Darul Qur'an and has continued his educational and religious services since then.

Managing Director & Teacher

Hafidh Syed Anas Qadri

Hafidh Syed Anas Qadri serves as the Managing Director and a Teacher at Raheemiya Darul Qur’an. He completed his Hifdh at Raheemiya Darul Qur’an in 2018 under the guidance of Maulana Muhammad Umer Farooq Sahab.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management with a specialization in Business Analytics from DeVry University and brings a unique blend of leadership and analytical skills to help grow and strengthen the organization. He is also furthering his Islamic education at Miftaah Institute.

Hafidh Syed Anas Qadri has experience teaching and volunteering at various masajid, leading community programs, delivering khutbahs, and mentoring youth. He is passionate about teaching the Qur’an and guiding the next generation both spiritually and personally.

Outside of his work, he enjoys spending time with his family and staying active through running and cycling.

Associate Director of Makhtab Program

Hafidh Muhammad Bilal Salar

Hafidh Muhammad Bilal Salar is the Associate Director of the Part-Time Maktab Program and a Teacher at Raheemiya Darul Qur’an, he has been serving the community since 2019.

He completed his Hifdh at Raheemiya Darul Qur’an under the guidance of Maulana Muhammad Umer Farooq. He has been teaching Qur’an, Tajweed, and Qaida with a calm and patient approach, focusing on helping students read correctly and build confidence in their recitation.

His aim is to create a supportive learning environment where children feel comfortable and encouraged. He is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity and spends his free time mentoring students and staying involved in community work.

Maktab Hifdh Teacher

Hafidh Shuaib Noorani

Hafidh Shuaib Noorani is a dedicated Maktab (Part-Time) Hifdh teacher who began teaching in 2021 after completing his own Hifdh in 2020 at Raheemiya Darul Qur’an under the guidance of Maulana Muhammad Umer Farooq.

He is currently studying Data Science while continuing to share his knowledge of the Qur’an. Shuaib enjoys helping students memorize and understand the Qur’an, creating a positive and encouraging learning environment.

Outside of teaching, he likes spending time with family and friends and pursuing his personal interests in technology and learning.
